About the Entry

Biz Recycling (www.lesstrash.com) was established in 2012 to provide resources to businesses and institutions within Ramsey and Washington counties (MN). The two counties have pooled resources to educate businesses about recycling and provide resources on moving higher up the waste disposal hierarchy.

The audience is a combination of decision makers and influencers within key non-residential audiences (businesses and institutions) in Ramsey and Washington Counties. Specifically, decision makers at high-volume organics and recycling generators.

Over the last couple years, the counties have been ramping up organic and recycling services who can provide consultation and technical assistance to businesses at no charge. To support this initiative, Risdall create an online label center, where businesses can order labels or download their own labels for customization. We also create an online catalog for grantees to select and order free containers, as part of their grantee process.
