About the Entry

HKTDC Product Magazines App allows traders to access 20+ product magazine titles published by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).
Buyers can download the latest issues of the product magazines and supplements for free via smartphones and tablet devices on iOS and Android platforms (search "HKTDC").
• Fair catalogues of the world-renowned HKTDC trade fairs: On top of featuring the latest market insights in the editorial content and suppliers' advertisements, the magazines also incorporate HKTDC trade fairs' event highlights, floor plans and exhibitor lists, facilitating the connections between buyers and suppliers.
• Interactive features: The application incorporates keyword search, bookmarking, notes, voice recording, instant enquiry, advertisement email functions, which enhance buyers' sourcing efficiency and generate more sales leads for suppliers. The application also supports videos so that suppliers can demonstrate their product features more vividly.
• Exhibitor code scanning feature: Using the latest QR Code technology, the application features a pioneering Exhibitor Scanner for buyers. When buyers scan the dedicated QR Code which the HKTDC provided to each exhibitor at its booth, they can download the exhibitor's company information, electronic catalogue and advertisements, and save the information on their mobile devices.
The application also addresses weight and environmental concerns as electronic magazines are more eco-friendly, eliminating the burden of buyers to carry print copies around especially at the fairground.
