About the Entry
The E! Online app makes it easier than ever for fans to access the breaking pop culture news, photos, and videos they can’t live without. With the app, they are able to stay constantly connected with the latest articles from the world’s leading source in entertainment news. They can view clips and bonuses from their favorite series like The Royals and The Soup and check out the latest celebrity headlines from E! News Now.
The app also includes live streaming events, bringing users live on the red carpet during the Oscars, Golden Globes and Grammy’s and to the E! Newsroom with Live From E! which is broadcast daily. The app easily highlights the biggest stories of the day. Users also have the ability to share content with a friend via email, or with everyone in their social networks. Via push notifications, the app notifies users of breaking news, guaranteeing that users are always in the know.
E! Online has an unparalleled reach across all digital platforms, including mobile; 38 million multiplatform users, 27 million mobile users, 65 million cross platform video views (1,500 video views per minute), and over 47 million social fans/followers. In Q2 of 2015 E! Online mobile was #1 for competitive cable networks in all demos (total, A18-34, W18-34, A18-49, W18-49) and #1 for Women’s Lifestyle in key demos (total, A8-34, A18-49). The E! Online app has seen an increase in downloads, usage and engagement since it’s debut. This past year E!’s mobile traffic delivered its best year-to-date.
