The Smart Energy Box contains of 4 smartPlugs, a gateway and our mobile app, wirelessly linked to each other, allowing you to gather information and efficiently manage your consumption from your smartphone or tablet.
Thanks to this new mobile app, Electrabel customers (and non-customers) can now follow the energy consumption of specific appliances (fridge, TV, heating appliances…) on their smartphone (iPhone & Android), or Tablet (Android, and soon iPad).
Even more useful, users can switch on and off their appliances at home, from anywhere – using the app. So on your next vacation, while sunbathing on a tropical island, you could easily check if you left your heating on!
The uses are limitless: Check if your children are watching TV in secret; Turn on the bathroom heating in advance; Program your coffee machine to start ahead of time, and switch it off from the office when you forget; Turn on the alarm from your bed, and much more…
What makes this product so unique is that it goes further in redefining home automation technology. The app produces statistical analysis on the consumption for each connected appliance, displayed per hour, day, month, or year!
This is of real economic value for consumers who want to lower their energy consumption and their cost.
These are smart features, but above all we made sure the app is so easy to use that even your grandmother could get addicted to it.
Detailed survey results are not collected yet, but according to votes on iTunes and Android stores (more than 4 out of 5 stars on average), the app is exactly what customers want...
